Since the version 2.0.2 imports of zfs-linux, the zfsutils-linux package
contains a misspelling in its recommended dependency on zfs-zed, which
is spelled instead as "fs-zed".
Debian has since imported Ubuntu changes into the control.ubuntu file

My mistake, it seems the latest import just introduced a typo and the
zfsutils-linux package now depends on the (non-existent) fs-zed package,

This makes a world of difference. It seems to make the Headphone volume
control the bottom speakers while the Speaker volume still controls the
top speaker.

I don't know the performance impact. You can find the command in earlier
comments, but you basically want a variation of:
/sbin/ethtool -K eth0 gso off gro off tso off
with your network device substituted for "eth0".
If you simply run this manually after boot up, rebooting should turn it
back

Unfortunately, when I had tried to upgrade to 16.04, the kernel did not work
with my i915 video card (I can search to see if there is any updated info about
that).

Adding my experience to comment #12, reboots will sometimes fix the
issue, but anecdotally I'd estimate the frequency at 10%. (i.e. one in
ten reboots clears it.)

I am (I think) able to observe the slider behaviour referenced in the
bug on my N7, running r329. My device initially discoverable, even when
the slider reverts to "off" by itself. Shortly after (maybe a few
minutes later), the N7 is no longer discoverable and turning the slider
back to "on" has
anywhere. I will keep going if you want its just a
matter of time...

Hp Laptop. Latest Ubuntu version update.
I close lid to laptop for it to sleep and still have power to USB. I

If this is a separate 'app' then it would need to be installed by
default. I'm in favour of Wayne's proposal. Apport is a good model for
bug reporting, but we need to think about how we'd implement the
suggestion feature.
