BTW, I just wish to mention that the proposed Squeezelite-X solution is
now being worked on in a Linxu version.

LMS is a server. You need a client (a music player).
LMS does not play music, it just collects music, and manages its stock
and access, and distributes them to the actual music players (the
renderers).
The client receives the music from LMS and sends it wherever you want

Presumably, when running LMS in a Docker container, you have it
installed on a NAS (e.g. Synology, QNAP)

Everything works except the most important thing connecting to my

Michael, not a big deal, but I still don't get notifications in the Web
GUI when a new plugin update is available. I believe it's particular to
the Web GUI as the Material Skin App displays the notification.

Thanks Michael, I also noticed that for some reason recent 8.3.0 Builds
do not show notifications for Plugins updates at the bottom of the home
page.
It looks like the 8.3.0 LMS lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver image has
not been updated in 7 days. The images for LMS 8.3.0 on the Beta
download page were updated on 02/16 and 02/20.

I'm very happy i found this so i can make my squeezebox radio to use
again. I used to have the DAC with the remote also, but it died :-(. I
have been using LMS like forever on my now very, very slow qnapts219 and
on my mac and PC. But now i have raspberry PI 4 8GB with a lot of

docker, I had port conflicts with the running native LMS.
I tried changing ports, but since I do not understand exactly what I am
doing, it didn't work out so far.

internal setting, for example to 9091, and then `-p` option would be `-p
9091:9091' for the CLI? And, a restart for the internal setting to take
effect externally?

When i run "mscommunity/logitechmediaserver:8.1.2" the container starts
without problem.
Haven't tried other, newer, versions yet, but there seems to be a
problem with 'stable'
Hmm... the biggest difference between the two is the underlying Debian
version. But that seems to be working for the
