Anybody know if it's possible to use two different text align settings on
the same line using the (newish) styledText property?
I want to have the first few words of a line aligned left in the field, and
the last few words aligned right.

Thanks Paul.
Yes, I was hoping the new text properties might accommodate more robust
alignment. I wound up using some basic tab stops and just living with the
result.

With graphics, foreColor = textColor.
But one way you can colorize the stroke of a graphic separately from its
textColor is to use a strokeGradient.

Nice presentation Scott.
One option you might consider is opening links in a separate tab/window so
visitors aren't totally removed from the site.

Hi Mark:
I meant to respond sooner that LF does make a difference. In my case,
files are indeed coming from a server, and LF allows LiveCode to read line
breaks correctly.

If you have nested groups, the layerMode needs to be set to scrolling for
the topmost (outermost) group, and the group that actually scrolls cannot
be nested inside another group. With this set up, you should get good
performance.

You could try wrapping the keysDown function in a looping handler. This
is a method I use for continuous key checking. You can disable/enable the
loop as you need it.

hasn't yet been *created* that's one thing, but otherwise you
should be able to configure controls before the card is displayed.
Hope I'm not confusing the issue.

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It¹s the only way
to be sure.
