having a hard time building the whole Felix project atm,
sorry for that! I guess the reason is that most people build only the
projects they are interested in. But it's great that you're reporting
all this issues, so we can finally get a full working build again.

was unable to find a resolution... LMK if anyone has seen
this before or has an idea on how to resolve it.
I've just committed a fix for that problem. I'Ve also updated the
resolver module so there shouldn't be any need to use Java 8 anymore.

I think it would be great if we can have a corrected perm file :)
I don't understand why config admin has control over other bundles, it's
just maintaining configs and provides an api to manipulate and get these
configs

Namespace handler an a InstanceListener. Similar to the way the
transactions are declared in blueprint beans.
