Hi Brian, I've updated my printer software, restarted the computer. All documents and templates I have print just fine so I think the problem is the template my husband has been using. I'll keep working on it to get his template to work--maybe make a new template for a user defined size. I did

I don't know why OpenOffice isn't recognizing the file contents properly. Maybe someone else will have ideas. Do you have 'Always create a backup copy' enabled? Again, please use 'Reply to All' (including users@openoffice.apache.org) so the other people on this e-mail list see your replies.
