I tried to open several files, OpenOffice.org crashed every time. My OS is Ubuntu 9.04 and my machine is an Eee PC 900. I uninstalled OpenOffice.prg 3.0.1 using Synaptic and then I installed OpenOffice.org 3.1 from a deb package downloaded from the Swedish OpenOffice site. This shouldn't be any
