Re: [SOGo] appointment reply address

2016-07-22 Thread "sg gs"

did you have a look at the logs of your incoming mta(s)?

i guess mails from the outside world are undeliverable because your incoming mta is not aware of pdup...@domain.com and therefore rejects mails.

Subject: [SOGo] appointment reply address

Hi,

Sorry but I need explain about how SOGo determine reply address for appointment notification.

Authentification is set with LDAP bindFields = (uid, mail)

Example with these LDAP data :

uid = pdupont

mail = philip.dup...@domain.com

The reply address shown in sent appointment notifications is pdup...@domain.com, which is not exist.

With internal users, this is not a problem, reply are still correctly sent. But people from outside cannot answer.

I think I missed something. Thanks for your help.

In the case of Debian, I see difficult it, since Debian is not a
rolling

release and it has its own operating scheme using three branches:
unstable-> testing-> stable.

[SOGo] outlook-2016 - activesync sharing contacts, meetings, tasks - still avaluating sogo

2016-07-22 Thread "sg gs"
hello,

using outlook-2016 interfaced by activesync, i did not yet find a way to access shared meetings, tasks,contacts of other users.

maybe i did not understand and/or did not try hard enought to configure it.

accessing shared email-folders works fine - shared folders are displayed as soon as outlook is restarted.

currently i'm using sogo-activesync-3.1.4.20160722-1, sogo:amd64-3.1.4.20160722-1

thanks for any answer

Unfortunately, it's not currently possible. We could add a new

Right now, you can change it for your users using the Administration

Hi, Zhang.

It's good to know the opinion of the founder of another open source
project, as the case of iRedMail.

In the case of Debian, I see difficult it, since Debian is not a rolling
release and it has its own operating scheme using three branches:
unstable-> testing-> stable.

Re: [SOGo] ANN: SOGo Package Repositories

2016-07-22 Thread Jan Skarvall
The FAQ at
https://sogo.nu/nc/support/faq/article/how-do-i-compile-sogo-2.html does
not specify which versions of sogo and sope to choose.

If I, as an example, want to build sogo 2.3.8, should I then also choose
sope 2.3.8?

How are these accessed?
Nightly builds are indeed available - just like before:
https://sogo.nu/download.html

There are FAQs on how to configure your repos for Yum and apt-get.

Generating packages from the SOGo/SOPE sources isn't complex - it's
just like building any other packages. We still provide the Debian
control files and the spec files to do so.

Thanks!

[SOGo] ActiveSync: free busy permissions

2016-07-22 Thread Ralf Cirksena
Hello,

quoting ID 0003749 from the bug tracking system:

We have an issue where Outlook 2013 with ActiveSync does not show
Free/Busy information.

SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles is set to (PublicViewer,
ConfidentialDAndTViewer) in sogo.conf but this does only apply to the
roles for authorized users.

Outlook via ActiveSync seems to use an unauthenticated connection to
query the free/busy information.

When we set appropriate permissions for "Public Access" (with
SOGoEnablePublicAccess = YES) then Outlook can show Free/Busy info.

Is it possible to set these permissions as default for new users?

Perhaps someone here can bring light into the darkness.

Greetings

2.2.17 has ActiveSync support already.
But I would not set up a new SOGo server with that old version, because
ActiveSync support has improved a lot since 2.2.17.
There were cases, when synchronization didn't work at all, especially
with big postboxes and calendars.
