Hello,
We have an installation with 2 filers on CentOS 7.2 with the hosted engine
appliance. We use iscsi for our backend storage.
We have some issues

I have found that I can import thin-provisioned VMs from VMWare ESXi into

How can I stop this hung snapshot ?
This is filling my engine logs.

Hello,
I recently added 6 hosts to an existing oVirt compute/gluster cluster.
Prior to this attempted addition, my cluster had 3 Hypervisor hosts and 3
gluster bricks which made up a single gluster volume (replica 3 volume) . I
added the additional hosts and made a brick on 3 of the new hosts and

Hello,
Based on the situation, I am planning to upgrade the 3 affected hosts.
My reasoning is that the hosts/bricks were attached to 6.9 at one time.

Thanks Strahil
I made a new gluster volume using only gluster CLI. Mounted the old volume
and the new volume. Copied my data from the old volume to the new domain.
Set the volume options like the old domain via the CLI. Tried to make a new
storage domain using the paths to the new servers. However

previously about needing to clean out the old domain.

You can't add the new volume as it contains the same data (UUID) as the old
one , thus you need to detach the old one before adding the new one - of
course this means downtime for all VMs on that storage.
As you see , downgrading

Hello,
Has anyone successfully connected the ovirt-engine to Apache Directory

I have tried the pre-set connections offered by oVirt and have been able to

ith 3 data bricks and add 2
additional data bricks plus 1 arbitrator brick (VOL2) to create a
distributed-replicate cluster providing ~6TB of contiguous storage ? .
By contiguous storage I mean that df -h would show ~6 TB disk space.

Hello,
We have decided to get a 6th server for the install. I hope to set up a 2x3

So we are not going to worry about the "5 server" situation.

Hello,
I am getting some questions from others on my team.
I have some hosts that could provide up to 6 JBOD disks for oVirt data (not
arbiter) bricks
Would this be workable / advisable ? I'm under the impression there should
not be more than 1 data brick per HCI host .
Please correct me if I'

Hello,
I am having problems selecting the host that I want to use for .iso and
other image uploads via the oVirt Web Console. I have 20+ servers of

Somehow oVirt keeps wanting to select my oldest and slowest system to use
for image uploads.
Please Help !

Hello,
I have a hardware RAID 10 array and want to use Cockpit to deploy a hosted
engine with replica 3 Gluster.
Should I pick the JBOD option for this ?
Will my disk alignments be correct for my PVs, VGs, LVs and xfs formatting?
I don't see RAID 10. I see where it was removed in 4.2.8 -- I thi
