I have installed Flander's drag bars P/N 650-04091 on the max. I have
heard
on the list that KN has stopped making theirs. I went with the Flanders
because the center section was 9" wide wich gave me room to add my
pressure
gage and shift light before the bend starts. The bars are 18"

different on Vmax's 1996 and up, that would cause me any problems with
registration if I buy an out of state bike? I live in California and I am

I have Delrin mounts on my bike and I made them out of that material while following
the drawings sent by the group. I was A bit worried when I started the replacement but
as I was going through the replacements I realised how correctly the manufactured
Delrin parts were.

Rio Yamaha got in touch with Yamaha USA. They say that they have heard
of this problem happening in Max's and R-1's. If you go to a synthetic blend
too soon your oil ring will not seat on the bottom of the piston. I went to

My 2000 Max also likes drinking oil and quite hefty amounts. I have never bothered to
check, but I must top it up every 3000 miles, when the red light comes on more and
more often on acceleration. I don't worry and have my personal reasons for it since it
is not the first bike or vehicle that
