Talking about reverse dns I have a little problem.
In the same machine there are several ips. In the first ip .71 there is no
service.
In the second one .72 mail is running ( pop3, smtp ).
.71 has reverse dns ( ssh.x.com )
.72 has reverse dns ( mail.x.com )
Qmail send mail from default
Thank you John,
That's what I thought.
I have now to say to my firewall to accept smtp for him
Is it necessary to have qmail-pop* run on the firewall where iptables
is running on and redirect pop3 to mail server.
Roaming users have to go to mail server to read their mails.

local message.

Is correct to send mail from a reverse dns in the same domain, but

hostname that MX entry ?
Yes, that would be fine. Mail doesn't have to come from servers that
accept messages.

I just read through part of the page there and it

email gets to my customer's as well and this looks like it has everything I need
so far :) Guess my mail will be going down to night while I work

have qmail 1.03 + vpopmail 5.3.19 w/ mysql + qmail-scanner (clamav,
A little additional information...it was suggested that I try to su to
vpopmail and run the maildrop command...here's what I got from that:
When I compiled, I used the following configure options, and not that
seekable is enabled (by default)
