Hi to
all,
i created a php panel with authentication for other
purposes than emailadmin. I would like to include qmailadmin with no modify but
i wouldn't like that users that authenticated on my php panel must
re-authenticate with qmailadmin. So how can i disable qmailadmin authentication

or is that only if you want to use tools such as vqadmin and qmailadmin?

Someone on the list posted that SMTP AUTH would fail if the domain directory didn't exist, because vchkpw needed it. They were trying to set up a separate box for inbound SMTP, and it would only have the qmail control files and a link to MySQL to authenticate users.
I just tried to verify that

I have had that error a number of times but I've never seen it documented
anywhere. Simply run 'touch /var/qmail/control/locals' to fix it. It
happens when the locals file doesn't exist, ususally because the install
of qmail didn't create it.
As I mentioned to X-Istence, that's what I

Yes, I'm doing this as root.
I figured out the problem though by looking at my old qmail installation on
another machine. The document at bsdquides doesn't have you create the
/var/qmail/control/locals file but vadddomain is looking for that file for
some reason. Once I
