When I was in New Zealand, I picked up some pelt scraps from a store. Some
nice person brought the Australian Possums to NZ and with no preditors they
have grown uncontrolled. Their pelt is very soft and the dubbing is nice to
work with. I am sure you can find someone down there who sells it

with the 3 WT rod as the tip protects the tippet. Still I prefer a heavier
tippet so I can land the fish faster unless the fish are tippet shy.
