You can also put a cad of rubber cement or bees wax on the jaws of the tweezers to help hold the bead. J From: vfb-mail@googlegroups.com [mailto:vfb-mail@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Allan Fish Sent: Friday, April 27, 2012 8:59 PM To: vfb-mail@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: [VFB] bead help

Hi Tony: Yes, I understand what you are saying. With the recessed groove located on the outside, it would be easier to get the point of the hook near the hole in the bead. I haven't used a "take out cover" but I can see the advantage. I find it difficult to access the hole in the bead with the

Hi Mike: I am not familiar with stretch tubing. Is that a brand or generic? I thought Larva Lace was stretch tubing. I tied up a chironomid with Midge Size Larva Lace last night, wrapping it conventionally around the hook and was able to stretch it considerably in order to achieve a more tapere

Hi Mike: When you mention D-Rib you got me searching. I determined that it was just a matter of locating plastic shoe box #7 which I subsequently found. Inside was a treasure trove that I had forgotten about. (grin) Does anyone remember a product called Swannundaze? It must be at least 25 years

That is why I was going to use some database to inventory my stuff. Someday I will do it. Then I will know what I have. I am like you I have a number of plastic drawers filled with stuff - that is fairly organized but then I have a few boxes. It is always a surprise. Mike On Sat, Apr 28, 2012
