And I've tried. I've added the picture into the feed. Different pictures. Different logos.
Different sizes. No go. i have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong. Something,
obviously...but what could it be?
If you use FeedBurner:
- Log in to your feedburner account
- Click on the feed you want to deal with
- Click the Optimize tab
- Click the Feed Image Burner link on the bottom left
- Change image source to specify custom image URL
- Enter the image URL (image should be no bigger than 144px tall or

Isn't the max size of an RSS Image 144x400 (and not 144x144 as you
suggested)? Or is there some application out there that only handle a
max of
Hello Josh,
Do you know if iTunes will use the RSS image if the itunes:image

According to this...

iTunes will use things like the RSS category if you don't use
itunes:category.
(And yeah, I agree, iTunes RSS is one of the
It says if the itunes:image tag isn't present, it will use the RSS

Just as a note, the FireAnt directory prefers iTunes images because of
the size limitations of standard RSS images. We need larger images, and

Commentary on media,
you could include a class to detect image dimensions and if smaller than what your max pref is for FA, no scaling, else, scale down accordingly. On 2/18/06,

Changes in the FireAnt directory may not take effect immediately... it
will take effect the next time our server grabs your RSS feed, which
is roughly once an hour.
We are working on implementing a Ping mechanism so you can notify our
server when you make a change to your RSS feed.

Maximum value for width is 144, default value is 88.
Maximum value for height is 400, default value is 31.
This means that people publishing images under the RSS maximum width is
144 pixels. This isn't nearly large
totally. crApple!thats why i stopped myself from modifying my rss parser to grab it... dont want to encourage people not to use the true RSS channel spec.sullOn 2/18/06,
