Great info. Thank you Mark!!
Does anybody by any chance know how to find data or any research that might
have been done about how video helps increase business and draw traffic.
I've asked some of my clients to give that info to me after their video has
been up on their websites for at least
Mark,
Again, thanks for the link. Like you said, there is a difference in commercial
advertising and infomercial. I produce the latter because I can incorporate my
broadcasting experience in this and I feel that personal approach where the
client meets the business owner is more powerful when i
Dave,
For me it's not big of a deal that the thumbnail frames are not perfect, but
since the client wants this video embedded into his website, he'd like to have
a better front frame than Youtube currently gives. I'll try different
suggestions given here how to "deceive" Youtube and will see wh
Damien,
Thanks for the info. I did experiment with frames but nothing worked.
What do you all mean "be a partner" with Youtube? Is it being a Youtube
employee or a preferred videoposter? What is it? And how do you become one?
Just curious :)
Thanks.

Hi Dave,
Just to let you know that none of my videos that are set to private have become
public without me changing the status. I just checked some of my clients'
videos on my account that I have a Private status for and they're still
private. But good to know that there could be a glitch. I'll
Hello,
have any of you filmed seminars and made webinars out of them? A client
approached me with this idea and asked if there's any way I could help him out.
I told him that I have only one camcorder and I assume for such filming I would
need at least two to get different angles. Is that true

Thanks everyone for responding to my question. You gave me some very helpful
and insightful advice! The flip cam was a great idea as a second camcorder
option. Didn't even think about it. And sound, yes, will have to sort that out,
if the client decides to actually go for the workshop filming.
Hi,
Can anybody please recommend a good quality (not too pricey please) boom pole
for a one person team? I have an Audio-Technica AT875R shot gun mic which I'll
be using for my videofilmings and would like a boom pole to go with it. Holding
a pole myself is not an option.
Please give me some

Hi,
I've been reading all your posts about the open source codec that Google is
coming out with. Its very educational, I'm not that tech savvy so it's good to
have this group to get all the condensed info in :). Thanks.
Anyway..I remember reading in one of the posts probably a couple of months
Hello,
Ok..so I have a question (again! :) ). I'm working with a lady in her company
and she'd like to invest in a new camera. We currently use my camcorder (sony
hdr hd7), which does a great job for the what we do now. But I do miss some
wide angle shots while using it and plus we need an extr
Thank you Mark for a thorough advice! And thanks Steve on the recommendation on
camera.
Will look into everything.
