QT is not meant to be a fancy editing tool, but it works extremely
well compressing your files, and playing your movies. I too have
never liked the fact that you have to constantly pay for upgrades.
But besides that, you edit with you fancy editing program and use QT
to compress, and present.
Ok so a while back I tried 3ivx with quicktime 7 and Tiger. things didnt work...has anyone figured out how to get that to work?

Its still not the best idea for them to have recommended h264 without
mentioning compatibility issues. It was nice to see such a tutorial
existing, but I wish the encoding section was clearer in general, eg I
didnt see it talking about video bitrate, and didnt agree with its
frame size recommen
I believe it worked ok for me on Tiger with QT7 pro and whatever 3ivx
was floating around in early May, but I havent tried 3ivx recently. Id
be quite happy to reinstall it and have a go, if you can let us know
exactly what didnt work for you.

Yes, I am hosting all my videos on the Archive through Ourmedia. The
most recent post that didn't show up in enclosures is actually one
that seemed not to upload at first, so I went back and re-uploaded it
using the "tool" at which point it worked. So it has just been
giving me a lot

posted this is they don't come up in the ANT feed, whereas the other

Right now, a maximum of one enclosure per item, per the RSS 2.0 spec.
I know that Atom 1.0 and Media RSS allow multiple enclosures per item,
but we're just keeping it simple for now.
