The thing about blogging, podcasting and all that is that now that
people have gotten some fame out of these platforms everyone is

I always wanted to see podcasters record stories with people. Shorter

(1) For producers of content, file hosting is much easier and
generally more accessible for video than for audio. That's a Web.2.0
anomaly I'm sure.
(2) I don't think audio is as well served with portable flash options
as video is. I mean that a flash video player is so often built to be

As a side note I would stay away from Pinnicle...when it works it's

I'll second the staying away from Pinnacle, and I've only used the

I have the C5 and I can say this about it. The quality, even at 640 X 480,
30fps is less than that of a single chip DV camera. It does pick up
auto-focus motor and zoom motor noise. And it's fairly useless after sundown
unless your house (or whatever) is well lit.
That being said, I really love

I've had the Canon Elura 100 since the Fall, which does have a stereo

Hello Diana,
Welcome to the list. Lot's of useful answers have preceded this one, so I'll
be brief.
I've owned an Xacti HD1A for about one month. Though it is at the top of the
price range for small sized recorders (86,000 yen), I've heard that the
price is already dropping. Perhaps this is
Xacti C6 owner here (current lusting after an Xacti HD that I have no
right to buy whatsoever)!
Same weird little clicks and whirs, but knowing that I can whip out my
camera at any time because it fits in my back jeans pocket makes it
all okay. What's a little whirring between friends?
Bekah
Melissa,
How long does the battery usually last?
Thanks,

As a liberal christian (not a bible thumper in any way), I do not care
for using 'jesus' and swear words together. I think it's blasphemous,
just as I wouldn't do anything like that in relation to muslims, jews,
