We just received a flyer to purchase a VMI Hybrid machine for a mere
$1,600.00. Though it is probably a good investment, that sounded a bit steep.

We are undergoing the effects of the VHS apocalypse in which our IT department
will be removing all VHS players from all classrooms by the end of this spring.
Though (at least a present) our library is generally keeping our VHS titles
and our small band of VHS/DVD combo

I have an issue of which I would like some advice. Recently, our IT
department (bless 'em) for our university announced that as of May 6 of next
year it would be pulling all VHS VCR players out of all classrooms, including
dual (DVD/VHS) players and would no longer be supplying

we want to put some identifying mark. Our cataloging librarian wants to
know if writing on one side (that obviously contains data) will damage
