You can still read emails separately, just flick down when you are on the main message of a thread until you come to where it says "Expand", then double tap and the thread expands and you can read each email, delete it and so on. I am not beta testing right now but I am prety sure Apple is aware

I do not believe there is a way to stop this. That is what made some dictionary apps useless because about every word in a definition was cross linked and so you couldn't get through a definition without hearing dozens of "link." You will want to contact Apple Accessibility, of course. Richard

I downloaded the A2Z app on Richard’s advice & it is very easy to use. My only problem comes after I am finished dictating a text. I am having lots of trouble finding the send button. After dictating the text I double finger double tap to end dictation. Then I can’t find a send button.
