Is the phone displaying connect to iTunes on the screen? It sounds like your iPhone got corrupted during the process. Hopefully you have a iCloud or iTunes back up. Last resort, you will have to get the iPhone in recovery mode and use the iTunes player on the computer to bring it back to life.
