on and then do what I want on the lock screen then turn speech back off.
Using this method, you still hear the notification sound when one comes in
but no speech. Not sure if this works for you but just another suggestion.

I think the mini currently is a mystery. I've heard rumors about everything
else except the mini. I can't help but wonder if the mini will eventually be
replaced by a phablet of some sort.

use the 2.4ghz band for other WiFi devices like my iPhone since I don't do
