In response to the question about why the label type matters:
Whether the label type matters or not depends on the printer.
The problem with laser labels in inkjet printers is that some of the early
inkjet printers used a water soluble ink that beaded and smeared on some
surfaces. Some of th
Also note that the
labels I sent you were Office Depot brand and not real Avery labels.

Hello everyone,
So I received my 6570 labels. I did a test print with my Canon
MP620 printer. Results are ok but not amazing. The code prints completely
on the label so it is usable. It still is not

Actually, the first digit in Avery labels is significant and tells you the
type of printer the label is designed for. a leading digit "5" means it is
designed for laser printing; a leading digit '8' means it is designed for
inkjet and a 4 or 6 is a combo label.
There is a list on our website o
Yes, the label number refers to the size of labels and not if it's designed for
laser or inkjet. Usually labels and printer paper will state if it's designed
for laser, inkjet, or both. Once I made the mistake of purchasing labels for
laser printers. I had the correct size/number but when I

Hello list,
For anyone following this small thread, I am still unsuccessful
printing Digit-Eyes labels using my Canon MP620 printer
Have you checked the options for your printer? Like, paper size ect. I know
my printer has options like scale or scale to fit. My printer also has the
option to print borderless. Play around a bit with these settings to make sure
it's all set to standard printing options.

Hello list,
For anyone following this small thread, I am still unsuccessful
printing Digit-Eyes labels using my Canon MP620 printer. I tried Christina's
suggestion of printing from preview and the results were the same. Using the
labels that are 30 per page they print about 1 quarter
Hi Christina,
Thank you for your help. Your directions worked just fine, as far as
saving the PDF. I then tried printing from Preview but again my labels are off
by a quarter of a inch. I'm probably just going to give up and instead use
different labels at work on my HP Laser printer
I think there are a couple of ways to do this. When on the link, you can press
the control plus a mouse click to bring up the context menu. This only works
if your mouse pointer is following the VO cursor. Then choose the option you
feel most comfortable with like download link. Another opti
Hi Christina,
Thank you for this suggestion. Can you tell me how to open the PDF in
Preview? I only know how to follow the steps on the Digit-Eyes site and open
the PDF when I press the link. I'm entering unknown territory here.
I never thought to question the browser or the PDF ar
I had a similar problem. I was using safari browser on my mac. For some
reason if I printed from the Adobe safari plug-in the labels did not print in
the correct spot. However, if I opened the pdf with preview instead of the
browser plug-in, it printed wonderfully.
Good luck,
Christina

hello listers,
If anyone out there is using a Canon MP 620 printer with Digit-Eyes I'd
love to find out if you had any difficulty getting this printer to print labels
correctly. I'll be checking in with Cannon and trying a different package of
labels soon, but in the meantime I can't
