Short answer, no, you can never downgrade an apple device. Once you have ios 8
running, then there is no way of going back to 7.

The only way you *may* be able to do this is if you downgrade after a
couple of days of trying the update; once Apple stop allowing the
upgrade there will be no way of downgrading. Blobs are now useless
unfortunately.
