If you use gmail and want your contacts, mail and calendars to be kept in
sync between for example your computer and iPhone you really have to use
IMAP or Exchange unless you use Outlook on the computer and set up iTunes to
sync your mail/contacts which can be done, but it's a far less

All I want to do is, use my ipod touch to check my mail from time to time.
I'm currently using windows live mail and have it configured for pop3.
