When I swipe down to automatic downloads, I can choose to turn on music, apps,

I have a 5s aqnd have insurance through verizon. The only time i ever needed
to talkke action is when i dropped my phone and they replaced it after it
went in the twilit.

Yes, and you have to agree to them twice even. There is no accidental
installation of a new upgraded to iOS.

The only reason this would be is if someone manually did the update. Apple
does not force through an update to a new operating system. You must
physically agree to do so twice before any firmware update is done. The only
thing that you may get is a notification that there is an update if you
elete the older one off my phone?

Perhaps she has automatic updates turned on? This can be found and turned off
by going to Settings, iTunes and App Store.
With automatic updates turned on Apple forces the update to your device. I
