If you go to:
Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Audio, you will find the first item in
this section is a button labeled Sounds & Haptics.
Here you will find various settings for controlling sounds and haptics while
using VoiceOver.

When I go into my FB APP, there is a series of buttons indicating some of my
friends who are active at the moment I become active. As I navigate the
buttons, VoiceOver reads the names. But they do not appear on the Braille
device, though everything else beyond that list appears
