The Book attachment was a kick starter project. That is over. You could, for around $40, get the stand including the book reader attachment through this kick starter. I believe the gentleman who makes these plans to make that available on his website, or maybe on Amazon at some point. But

The last version I have is 4.50 released on August 26. This is the one where they claimed to fix VO issues. The latest one in the app store is 4.71 and was released on December 16. I stopped upgrading after the 4.50 update because I really couldn't tell any difference in VO functionality.
