There are very few people who have such battery issues and doing a few simple
preparations before you upgrade like making sure all apps are closed and
turning your phone off and back on reduce the likelyhood even further. Apart
from that I certainly enjoy how snappy iOS 12 is on my iPhone 6S
I have had no issues with SIRI like what you described.

notifications. Did you also check under Accessibility what Call Audio Routing
