Mary, I'm not sure it is either exactly. The Shortcuts app was updated 4 weeks ago according to the app store. So, since both iOS 12.1 and the app were updated longer ago than yesterday, maybe it is a server issue with Siri or something really odd. I would encourage everyone to write Apple
