Those buttons disappear the farther you scroll down a webpage in iOS 7. The
most consistent way I’ve found to get them to return is to do 2 or 3 extra
swipes down with 3 fingers once you know you’re at the top of the page.

The biggest problem with the Apple maps is the battery drainage. Once you
get to understand the layout of Google maps, it is quite accessible and

One is the camera, like you said, and the other one is for the back
microphone. The FaceTime camera is near the earpiece and proximity sensors,
but it's flush with the rest of the device, so you can't physically feel it.
