I opened my Comcast tv remote app this morning and was surprised to hear
voiceover readout the tv channel listings.
So far, I can't get any tv show listing details. When I tap on a channel, the

Interesting, so this sort of streaming technology reminds me a bit of the
Chrome Cast. There is very little to no battery drainage with Chrome Cast
because the stream is happening over the wifi network, not on your device.

Hi, I have successfully used Chrome Cast with Pandora, Songza, YouTube, Vevo,
Real Cloud Player, etc.
The thing with Chrome Cast is you need to sometimes search around the
individual apps for the Cast button. Lol, they don't put it all in the same
spot. On Pandora, it is in the lower right.

We are going on vacation next Month to a town that is suppose to be very
walkable. I want to enter the address of the hotel & plan some future walks to

sensitive. Lol, I'm also finding it very annoying. I answer my call, then I'm
trying to keep the phone very still, but it seems like that darn speaker phone
activates no matter what.

I'm finding the new closing out apps much faster.
I double tap home to bring up the switcher, touch the app I want to close, then
make sure the close action is selected. If I want to close all, I put my
finger on the next app and use the split tap method for the rest. It happens
very quickly.

Hi all,
I just noticed yesterday, that I can now start up a DVR show via the app. Tap
the last tab along the bottom of the app, go to DVR manager, then my
recordings. You can organize your list of recordings by date-&-time or title.
Now just under the name of a show is the button watch on tv
In the alarmed app, you'll need to set up a super reminder. Set the interval
to every 2 days I believe.
I currently have one for every 4 days. Lol, this confused me, because I needed
3 days in between each reminder. It didn't occur to me to set it for every 4
days. If y'all know what I mean
I use this app on its own; it will be very cool for it to be apart of Apple
Maps. :)

Hi all,
I came across this app the other day and have successfully used it a few times.
It is an audio book app for your local public library, if your library offers
it.

Has anyone successfully created an appointment/event for a specific calendar?
For example, a hair cut appointment on the family calendar. BTW, the family
calendar is not my default.

Has anyone here used the bump app? It is for sharing information between
phones that have the app. Photos, files, contact info, etc.
Both users need to have the app open, hold your phone, and gently but firmly
bump hands. It is pretty cool! There are some unlabeled buttons.

Do y'all know of an app like find my friends that would work cross platform.
For now, I'm mostly thinking iPhone & windows phone.
