iOS 8 and status update on Facebook a bug?

Hi, This may have already been reported or talked about. However, when I double tap status in Facebook so I can then dictate a status, voiceover completely goes away. Siri says it is still on, but there is no speech. I have to shut off my phone and turn it back on for voiceover to come back.
