Having problems upgrading Pandora.
Hello! I am trying to upgrade Pandora to Pandora 1. I went into settings on my iPhone, manage subscriptions, and Pandora. When I came to the point where I select the renewal option the box would not show as checked when I double tapped. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how can I fix it? A question about HuLu plus.
I just downloaded the HuLu plus, and it is driving me crazy. When I search for a show and click on the result I am kicked out of the app. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, is there a work around? My experience with Apple Pay.
I just want to share my experience with Using Apple Pay. I set Apple Pay up when the last software update happened. Last Friday, I decided to go to Subway to grab lunch, and I used Apple Pay. It went flawlessly, and it was so accessible. I was dubious about Apple Pay, but after using it I sure will use it again. Please totally disregard my questions about the radium app. Many of my favorite stations in the app were serious XM stations, and I figured out that I had to login to serious XM and enable that feature. It is amazing what can happen when I do this. Issues with facebook messenger
I am having an issue with messenger. I have messenger on my iPhone 4 s, and the only way I can delete messages is to go into the conversation and delete the messages one at a time. the ones with stickers cannot be deleted. When I delete messages, I go in to the conversation, set the roter on edit, and delete the messages one at a time. I have tried swiping down in the message list to get actions to delete the whole conversation but that is not working. Am I missing a step? Any help will be appreciated. List mail not being received on my iPhone.
I don't know if there is anything that can be done on the part of the moderators, but on my PC I am getting my list mail just fine in my inbox. However, I am not receiving any of the list mail on my iPhone. I looked at Google groups to see if there was any settings I need to change, and their settings menu is a total bear to work with. the updated TuneIn radio app
I just updated the TuneIn Radio App, and I like it. The new interface takes a little getting used to , but IMO, this app is the most accessible it has been. For those who are thrown off by the new interface at first, here are a few hints. When you first open the app, you will be at a now playing screen. Swipe around until you find the exit the now playing screen button and double tap on this button. You will then be in your profile screen where all of your favorites will be listed. Select a station by double tapping it. Then swipe until you hear stations, and right after that, the station that you selected will be there. Double tap the station again, and the station will play. There are additional steps with the new TuneIn, but it works very well. Try to give it a chance. If you do have Siri enabled, you may want to shut your phone off for a couple of minutes. Turn the phone back on and see if that solves the problem. a question about ear monsters
I have a question about Ear Monster. I will be playing and trying to shoot at monsters. Sometimes I know I'm where I need to be to shoot a monster, but the screen will act like it is stuck, and no guns will go off. HAS anyone had this problem? If so, what can I do so that I can quickly shoot the monsters. I'm up to 507, and I want to score higher. I hope this makes sense. Jen! I installed the ITunes update, and I had the same issues. I ended up uninstalling ITunes bonjour and apple application support. You do all of this by going into your control panel, hit add remove programs, and choos ITunes, bonjour, and apple application support from the list. Once you remove these things, go to apple software and you should be able to install ITunes. It worked for me. You need to uninstall all three you need to uninstall iTunes Bonjour and Apple application support. Then, you can reinstall iTunes. I installed the ITunes update, and I had the same issues. I ended up uninstalling ITunes bonjour and apple application support. You do all of this by going into your control panel, hit add remove programs, and choos ITunes, bonjour, and apple application support from the list. It doesn't matter in which order you uninstall iTunes, Bonjour, and Apple application support. Just uninstall those three things, and you should be able to update iTunes. I kept the Apple software updates program, but you can uninstall but if you want to. You have to uninstall iTunes and Apple components to install the latest version of iTunes. You can't copy over an old install with this update. I spent a lot of time yesterday updating iTunes deleting old components and reinstalling things. Plus I had to fix my Outlook 2007 as MobileMe services kept giving me error messages. MBraille most definitely. When BrailleTouch first came on the scene it was fine, but you could only type in grade one braille. They only had one update to the App, but I do believe that the developers had the best of intentions. MBraille is wonderful because grade two braille can be used. I use it for so many things. It is also updated on a regular basis with new improvements made all the time. When you open up the radium app, click on the more options screen. There you should find an option for subscriptions click on subscriptions. And there will be an option for the serious XM login double tap on that, and you should be able to login from there. I hope this helps. Accessing SiriusstXM is so easy to do with this App. While the SiriusstXm app is doable, I like ease in finding my stations and the labeled buttons on radium are nice. With my SiriusXM account I have a log in name and password to manage my account and such. For the Internet listening, I have a completely different user name and password. If you use Radium or MusicDoc you have to use the user name and password that you would use to listen to internet radio on the computer. The online account is where you log in if you need to manage your account and such. The Internet Radio account is different. There will be an update to the app with next few days. When this update happens, you will get a message saying that the app is no longer free. Then you can choose to either by the 100 pack of pictures or buy a one-month subscription of unlimited pictures. One willing to pay $$$ f or a big mac, but not willing to pay 35C per day to support the app? again, because, blind user are entitle to freebies kind of attitude? The hundred picture pack does not have a time limit on it. If you want to have unlimited pictures then you will have to pay a monthly subscription. For me I will get the hundred picture pack for now as it takes me a while to go through 100 pictures. Considering how helpful this app has been for me it is worth the price. Using Siri to call phone numbers with extensions.
I am wondering if Siri can dial a phone number such as a number to a company plus an extension to a particular person that I need to talk to in the company? I find that when using my Iphone if I need to dial an extension that sometimes I'm not fast enough, and it does not work. If Siri can't do this, what is the correct way to dial an extension with the Iphone? I am using an iPhone 4s. I cleared out the app switcher. I powered the phone down and turn the phone back on. I tried something else. I cleared out the history in iTunes radio, and that seemed to help a bit. However I can only listen to a station for about 45 minutes at a time is this normal? ITunes Radio is starting to drive me crazy.
I am attempting to listen to a station right now, and I can't get through a whole track before I am kicked out of the stationed back to the station list. Has anyone been experiencing this. Also, my stations at best have been playing 2 or 3 songs and then they stop playing. Has anyone experienced this issue as well? If this keeps up, I am going to renew my Pandora subscription. Yes, you can download books from the web site using your phone. If you are looking at the web site using your phone, there should be a download button next to the book. For me, I find that it is easier to add a bunch of books to the wish list using my PC and then going to the wish list on my phone and downloading books as I am ready to read them. That way space is saved on the phone. When you are done reading the book, double tap on the bookshelf tab. There is a edit button, and all you have to do is double tap on the edit button. You will have your list of books, and there is a delete button next to each book. Double tap on the delete button, and it will be deleted from your phone not from the website. I think that the Apple servers are in overload mode. I have times when Siri is slow to work, or it will say that it can't take my request and to try again later. Then I have had times when it is quite quick to respond. My guess is once things calm down we will have better results from Siri. I'm also finding that the accuracy in dictation is much improved. Last night, I listened to Pandora while I was working, and after about 5 hours, the station I was listening to stopped playing. All I had to do was tap on the still listening link. I do think that Itunes Radio will be competition for Pandora, but I doubt if Itunes Radio will cause Pandora to go by the way side. I canceled my paid Pandora subscription, but I won't stop listening to Pandora all together. Now that ITunes Radio is here, I canceled my paid subscription to Pandora, but I still want to use the free version. Besides having no advertisements in the paid version of Pandora what is the difference between the free version and the paid version? I have about 8 stations in Pandora. Hi Lois! You don't need to subscribe to Match. It could be that right now the Apple server is so overloaded with people getting the new update and such. I logged on to ITunes on my PC early this morning, and I couldn't listen to the radio and I received a network error message. The same thing happened when I used the phone to access the radio. I waited a couple of hours, and I was able to access the radio. I would wait a while and try again later and see what happens. The button that you find in the stations are for placing individual tracks on your ITunes wish list, or you can buy individual tracks. You do not have to pay for any of the stations that you listen to unless you decide to pay for a subscription for ITunes Match which will give you advertisement free radio. The problem could be on Apple's end where there server could be messed up and a delay in sending your password reset e-mail could happen. I would wait for a while and try submitting a reset password request again. I am a Schwan's customer and have been playing with the App. There definitely are a lot of bugs in the App, especially with VO. I use the Sirus XM App. It is a challenging app, but it does work with voice over. There is an excellent podcast on AppleVis on the Sirius Xm App. There are buttons in the app that are not labeled, but you can label them.The app takes patience, but I prefer using the app for the internet only stations as it is more accessible than using the computer. A question about lost contacts on my IPhone.
This morning, I synced my Iphone to my Itunes on my PC. I received a message about syncing my contacts, and I hit do not allow when I probably should have hit allowed. In the process, I lost a few phone numbers that I added recently in the last couple of months. Is there a way to retrieve these numbers or do I need to re-add the numbers to my contacts? Reggie, there probably is an easier way to find the buy button, but this is how I did it. I typed a text message and put in the command for sms. Once I swiped down, I got an alert screen saying that I need to have MBraille pro to send a text, and there was a buy button. I hope this helps. I don't like living dangerously, especially when my Iphone is my only phone. I charge my phone once a day, and I try to charge it when I am in bed. I try to maximize my battery power by keeping the screen locked when I am not using the phone and keeping the App switcher empty. I also for the most part will not charge the phone until I get to 20% power. There is a radio tuner app which will allow you access to Satellite radio if you have an active account. This app is accessible, but I cannot remember which one it is. I live in NZ, so do not have access. In all honesty, the only thing you can do, besides trying to generate enough noise for hopefully convincing the company to make adjustments, is find an accessible alternative. We really need to remember that we are an insignificant market at only 0.5% of the population. Though we desire to have all apps be accessible for us, how many of us consider access for other disability populations. For instance, how many podcasts, especially those created by blind people, include full transcripts for those who are deaf? Until we all start doing so with every podcast we create so that deaf people can have equal participation, I would say we are the pot calling the kettle black. I use Grubhub quite a bit. When I place an order paying with cash I have no issues with placing an order. When I place an order using a card I does not seem to take. I have to touble tap multiple times before the order finally is placed. I reported this to GrubHub customer service. The way you know if the order goes through is if a receipt screen comes up. I am on the crazy level of I Associate 2. I am finding that at times when I tap on an association to type in the word that it goes to the hint button. I figured out my iAssociate 2 issue.
Yesterday, I posted to the list about issues that I was having with iassociate 2, and I think I solved the problem. What would happen is that when I would tap on an association that I wanted to solve, the edit field would not open. I would be taken to the hint button. It was becoming extremely frustrating. Well, I think I fixed the problem, and this might help someone else. Go into the iAssociate 2 settings that are in the app itself. There is a setting where you can take the hint button out of the interface. This is a toggle setting, so if you turn it off you can always turn it back on if you need it. I tested this out after shutting off the hint button, and so far, success. Well, I'm figuring out how to work Talking Goggles. It identified some mail for me. How far from the camera have to be from the object that I wish to photograph? When I first installed Flecksi, I will admit that I did not like it, and I did not think it would be of any use to me. When you first are in the app, there should be a menu, and there is a tutorial option in the menu. AppleVis also has a very nice podcast on Flecksi. It took me time to figure out Flecksi, but now with a lot of practice, I use it quite a bit along with BrailleTouch, my BlueTooth keyboard, and I am starting to use the built-in keyboard in the phone.
