Yes, I used to get my bill in braille and it was awesome. But, like ann, to
save where I could, I had to go with autopay so no longer need braille bill.

Hi List,

I did a Google search and was not encouraged with the results regarding AT
and Accessibility support. They do have a National Center for Customers with
Disabilities and its phone number is 866-241-6568. However, this center appears
to be for those with hearing or speech impairments who are unable to use the
regular voice network. They have a special rate plan for those who are
qualified and certified to have the requisite impairment and the application
form to apply can be found at this website:

https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.att.com%2Fecms%2Fdam%2Fatt%2Fconsumer%2Fhelp%2Fpdf%2FTAP-disability-certification-form.pdfdata=02%7C01%7C%7C057381d37c144f42a78c08d82bf9d0bc%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435%7C1%7C0%7C637307699225257453sdata=w74BU4c95DWCHwF4FGptQoohG0baxYKAySGPqzIKKTY%3Dreserved=0

I accessed another website where they had contact phone numbers posted to see
if they had an Accessibility Customer Support phone number but was discouraged
to see that each of those numbers were housed in separate images that
Fusion/JAWS would not read.

If anyone else has better information regarding AT Accessibility customer
support contact info, I'd love to hear it. Personally, I'm glad I'm on Verizon.

Thanks for sharing this information.

Curious if someone could setup a blog or Wiki listing the various
companies offering A phone number to reach their accessibility department?

Think amazon, Google and Microsoft has an accessibility phone number.
Just would like too bookmark a resource that list all of them.

I believe you can have up to 10 devices on one prepaid account. You should
verify this by talking to Verizon either using the Accessibility number

RE: Verizon Accessibility Number, was Re: shopping for mobile plans

2020-07-18 Thread Les Kriegler
Hi Alan,

This is great information. I didn’t know Verizon had an accessibility
department. I called and found out they are open from 8 AM to 9 PM
Monday-Friday. I’m certain I’ll be speaking with them.

Best Regards,

Les

Xfinity is great if you have their internet.

We were on Consumer cellular before Xfinity offered their plan.

Consumer cellular was quite affordable and very good customer service.

I suggest calling the various companies.

I know Consumer Cellular will give you all the details up front.

Verizon does have an accessibility department, so maybe they would be more
helpful.

I don't have much experience with anyone else.
