sure is not what I am looking for.

The brother printers (say MFC27xx family) do a good job, have a low cost
per page and there's an app for "airprint" (generically it's got wifi and
hardwire ethernet).
I rather like Epson for color/photograph printing, but any inkjet costs
more per page than a "laser" printer,

years old the models are different now and in fact change a lot. I suggest
you either do a search on google or Amazon.com for airprint enabled
printers. If you do this on google you will find links

printer. its cost is near about rs 9,000. but if you want black and
white laser printer then hp mf1213 may be better.
