Hi WAMUGers For several weeks I have been unable to perform a Time Machine backup. It starts off and then later I discover it has been unable to backup. I get error messages such as there was an error copying Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume.

Well, that's one way of doing it. Another way is to create a blank disc image (or more than one if you want to split the info into parts) on your mac, then copy the info from the flash drive to the disc image(s) on the mac. Then erase the flash drive before copying the disc images across. I

No problem with updating the firmware but the firmware out of the box gave us issues with all red warning lights coming on all the drives and therefore no data or protection. Once we had updated the firmware for both the drobo and the drobo share we have had no problems at all and love it
