I have Netgear for my broadband
Each time I go into security to put a password on it, it says it has

I am having a problem sending mail. Emails get stuck in the outbox and I am
getting request for password, both for iinet and Yahoo accounts. Occasionally
one will be sent. I have tried a restart but it is still doing the same.

Are you trying to set a password in System Preferences/Network (which is the
wrong way to do it), or are you using a web browser (eg Safari or Firefox
etc) to access the Netgear Web Admin page (which is normally 192.168.0.1
with login details admin/password).

Verify you have the correct password set in Keychain, then close mail and go
for a 10-15 minute coffee break.
After the break open mail and run the connection doctor under the Window

Since my last posting on the strange request for password I now find that I
am unable to open Mail.
Have accessed via Google - gmail.
Have not tried my iinet link
Am unable to close or put to sleep as Mail still active
Cannot close Mail as Quit Mail greyed over
Can anyone suggest a cause?

Couldn't see anything listed on their support page, but there's work
scheduled for later tonight,..so could be linked.
