everything seemed to work OK. I was able to program TV shows and they got

I don't think the scammers take a lot of notice of donotcall - I'm on
the register and still get plenty of calls from Indians called Mark
and Kevin offering to help with my computer.
I usually say I don't have a computer

Good evening all,
Having become fed up with Telstra over a billing issue and at the same time
starting to feel like one of their favourite milking cows, I have decided to
move on, but just where to go from here is looking like a more daunting task
than first anticipated. I am a low end user

Hello Adrian
I am with Reg on this one. I have been with Internode since moving to Hobart
and am very happy with them. Moved to Naked ADSL with them a year ago too
which allowed me to get rid of the dreaded Telstra land line. How good is that?
Cheers

Hi all, in case anyone else was curious, I resolved my issue here from

Hi Mac,
Have you checked if you are actually 'online' … open Safari and see if you can
connect to a website. It might be just a problem with your email not
downloading.
You haven't got 'Call Waiting' have you?
Also check you don't have Disconnect if idle for xx minutes' enabled.

I have been with Exetel for 9 months now and, after varying periods with
Telstra, Optus, AAPT and TPG, Exetel has been far above any of those others for
what I want from a phone and broadband provider.
Their rates are very good (they have just raised the cost of phone calls
unfortunately)

I'll second that .. no problems at all in 3 years of use, the service
is great.
Just the fact that phone calls are answered 24/7 by real people here in
Perth makes them vastly superior in my book!

I also give full marks to Westnet. I have bundled phone with

Westnet can be very accommodating and do make a lot of noise while you wait in

Hi all
Westnet for about 10 years, excellent service, they have always returned my
calls promptly. If they are busy you just press asterisk and they call back.
Cheers

I'm still happy with iiNet's naked account after almost 3 years.
Their phone support has been fine and they give you the option for a call back
if you can't be bothered waiting on hold - particularly useful when on a mobile
phone.
Naked gives ADSL2+ as well as free local national calls and
Thanks for all that everyone, it looks like its going to be a long task to get
