I can not find any link to prove it now but I know I did see some time ago from a respected web site that the Apple rechargeable batteries are re-badged Sanyo Eneloops. I would assume the charger may also be a re-badged Sanyo. I bought Eneloops for my Sony digital camera and they last and last.
