On my iMac QuickLook Helper has started running at close to 100% on all four
cores on my 3 year old iMac in OS 10.6.8.With Activity Monitor only running
QuickLook Helper is at around 393-397% of CPU all the time and my fan is
working overtime because of this.
Does anybody know what might
be a corrupted cache file causing the problem.
You might also need to delete the
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.QuickLookDaemon.plist preference file.

Problem is from a mixed platform office. PDF's printed to this printer from
the PC print at the correct size and the colours are reasonably close to the
