I found that by quitting and reopening Calendar on my iMac it would import a
new entry from other devices.
I haven’t had any serious issues with Hi Sierra on my 7 yo iMac

Hi Treasurer and members,
I couldn’t see your personal email Peter, but I just now paid the annual subs

It’s entitled “The Trillion Dollar Mark could still be in Reach”

Well, this is interesting as I haven’t used antivirus since buying my first
Apple Mac in 1986.
I thought the regular security updates from Apple were enough.
Presumably if one wasn’t SPAM aware a virus or similar could corrupt the
system, otherwise do we really need AV?

How may I reinstall OS 10.13.6 on the internal HD, which is now known as OSX
Base System and devoid of any installed software?
I have a separate HD which is the Time Machine.
It’s a 2009 dual core iMac with 8Gb Ram

Hello Again Peter,
I restarted the iMac with Command R only.
This time I was able to instal High Sierra on the internal Drive (which wasn’t
locked) and so far everything is OK.
Now to back up from Time Machine.
Thanks for your input

Can I unlock it somehow using Disc Utility?
In a folder marked System sub folder CDIS there are possible ways to unlock and
instal OSX, but I’m wary of trying without some more advice.

There must be simple solution, but every time I open NOTES in MacOS , two
addressed emails popup ready to be filled with text and sent.
I tried switching accounts, but that didn’t solve it.
Any ideas on how to stop this?

I always update my Apple systems ASAP and expect to then be malware secure.

As I understand the situation, IINET or WESTNET are the internet service
providers and that won’t change.
One isn’t obliged to use @ iinet or @ westnet.
I haven’t used those addresses for several years and I’m happy with all the
apple addresses @me @ Mac @ iCloud.
