I have a control in my application, that looks a list box, but in the code it
is treated as a select list. When I use the Watir select list commands,
everything works fine. My problem is that when I first bring up the page that
contains the list, one item in the list is already high

I discovered that my problem was that I had a newline character at the end of

I have been using value, I accidentally left it out of my message. What I have

This puts a '1' into cells a1, a2, and a3. I want a1 = 1, a2 = 2, a3 = 3.
