surely, one is missing. I think they should have had Ernest T. Bass make
an appearance. He could have thrown one of his bestest rocks through the

Hey, Mayberry friends. I happened to catch an episode of Matlock early Sunday
morning and Ben was defending a suspected murderer played by Don Knotts.
Imagine our Barney accused of murder! The only thing he ever killed on TAGS was
a few hours on the cot in the back room.

One of my favorite Don/Andy moments on Matlock was a bit of dialog that went
something like this (and I have to paraphrase:

Off the top of my head for TAGS actors on 'Matlock', I can think of Betty Lynn,

later than the ones put out on DVD, Thelma Lou is a secratary during part of

secretary. Aneta Corsaut appeared on 7 episodes. In 5 she was Judge Cynthia
Justin. Writer Everett Greenbaum appeared in 5 episodes as Judge Lawrence

Harvey Bullock, our recently departed TAGS writer of classic episodes
such a Opie the Birdman and The Haunted House also played (acted) as a
Judge on Matlock. You'll have to look up his picture to recognize him,
of course, since he did not appear on camera on our favorite show.
