have poked HP in the ear again this morning - the Scanner support is
the only UK support team I've dealt with at HP to say they couldn't
give a *^% is putting it

If you don't find someone there to get the drivers for you before I leave
let me know and I'll copy them for you. I could always copy them while there
as well assuming I bring my laptop, it has a cdrw in it. I noticed many of

My t-mobile account that I use at Starbucks runs me $26 per month for
unlimited access anywhere in the US. Since I meet clients there and don't
maintain a separate office it is cheap in comparison to renting an office

I adore my Epson it rocks!, and I will *never* buy HP again.
My installation CD died on my HP scanner, and they did not have the

Try asking a few people who are responsible for looking after scanners what
the scanner is and where they got it.
If they can instantly tell you that it's a Brand X and that they got it
from Dealer Y, that probably means that they are continually calling Dealer
Y

I've got a Canon LIDE 30 which I really like. Works great on both the PC and
the Mac (even OS X). Best of all from my point of view is it is small, thin
enough to fit where I need it to go in my computer desk. I see from the

I knew my current scanner was a Canon but had to go look at it to get the
model for Jac.
I've had several different brands over the years and so far this Canon LIDE
30 is my favorite. It is probably the least expensive as well. I picked it
in part because I wanted to use my new scanner on both my
