I have had a very similar experience to you Cheryl. A brand new computer
with two completely clean, (brand new), hard drives - 20Gb 60Gb. I had
Windows XP Installed and then tried to install NAV - no matter what swear
words I used, it still would not install.

That's right; your free NAV is expiring (or expired). I have run NAV for
3-4 years until this year's renewal. I paid a small renewal fee every year,
but somehow for this year, they increased the renewal fee to almost the
same as new version fee. So I purchased the new version. After downloaded
you can still get the virus data files and everything by downloading the
manual DAT and update files from their website. Norton is a little annoying
but it does allow that option. go to the Symantec home page, click on
