[Bug 23264] Dumps twisted in several languages
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23264 --- Comment #19 from Ariel T. Glenn ar...@wikimedia.org 2010-05-22 07:17:17 UTC --- elwiki is temporarily on hold. I ran across a revision with unretrievable text: see http://el.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%CE%A3%CF%85%CE%B6%CE%AE%CF%84%CE%B7%CF%83%CE%B7_%CF%87%CF%81%CE%AE%CF%83%CF%84%CE%B7:Geraki/%CE%91%CF%81%CF%87%CE%B5%CE%AF%CE%BF_9oldid=1422393 for the particular revision. I'll probably restart the job tomorrow and ignore this one revision's text. At some point we should decide how to mark up pages for which there are errors. We already put 'deleted' in some fields, perhaps we should have error indications as well. If folks have other thoughts, please chime in during the next 6-7 hours or so (while I sleep). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

It seems that there are a few problems: * There are no interlanguage links at the sidebar at all. They are all at the bottom of the article. * The article counter says 1, even though there are more. * There's no logo. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-he.png can be used. * The RTL directionality of the reCAPTCHA for anonymous editing and account creation is broken. * The copyright notice under the article editing field is in Hebrew, but in the link to the copyright policy the Wikipedia: namespace is in Russian. * Special:Version in the live he.wikipedia lists many more extension. There should be a link from the dialog to a reference page that details the regular expression syntax which is relevant to the user's browser. (I suppose that the employed regex syntax is the one in the JS engine of the user's browser and maybe there are differences between the engines; correct me if i'm wrong.) This link should be added to all languages. I think this feature request is not the same as Bug 20707, even if they both talk about pages in refs, which is not handled very well at the moment. What I am asking for is to be able to add a ref to an article, and also to add a ref to a subpart of this article. When I add a ref to a subpart of an article, what I do is using a group, and grouping refs in the bottom of the article like this : * Name of an article about the subject, which is 3 pages long references group=A/ But if I do this, the only way to refer to the article as a whole is to add a ref with Name of an article about the subject, which is 3 pages long as text, which will cause this text to be duplicated in the bottom of this article. [Bug 22265] Allow references to be listed with letters
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22265 --- Comment #6 from Gadget850 ed.pal...@gmail.com 2010-05-22 20:12:57 UTC --- I see your example for Klingon :) I have seen some uses of {{ref}} with Greek letters and Roman numerals, so this makes it easy to add those styles. I see you detect when you run out of backlinks and give an error— I was wondering about that; will have to add the error message to the list. Not sure what you mean by only not allow spaces as separators. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 23631] New: serve cert chain for OTRS ticket.wikimedia.org
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23631 Summary: serve cert chain for OTRS ticket.wikimedia.org Product: Wikimedia Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Normal Component: OTRS AssignedTo: tstarl...@wikimedia.org ReportedBy: bugzilla+org.wikime...@tuxmachine.com OTRS ticket.wikimedia.org is not serving the full certificate chain. (via ssl/tls) I'm fairly certain this is non compliant with relevant standards but don't have a source offhand. I'm seeing this causing cert warnings in safari. (using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_3; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Safari/531.21.10) For reference here's a comparison of the misconfigured site with a properly configured site. (both seem to be signed by the same upstream intermediary CA) $ for i in ticket.wikimedia.org squarefree.com; do openssl s_client -connect $i:443 /dev/null 2/dev/null | perl -pe 'exit 0 if (/^Server certificate$/);' | sed -e 1d; done --- Certificate chain 0 s:/O=ticket.wikimedia.org/OU=Domain Control Validated/CN=ticket.wikimedia.org i:/C=US/ST=Arizona/L=Scottsdale/O=GoDaddy.com, Inc./OU=http://certificates.godaddy.com/repository/CN=Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority/serialNumber=07969287 --- --- Certificate chain 0 s:/O=www.squarefree.com/OU=Domain Control Validated/CN=www.squarefree.com i:/C=US/ST=Arizona/L=Scottsdale/O=GoDaddy.com, Inc./OU=http://certificates.godaddy.com/repository/CN=Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority/serialNumber=07969287 1 s:/C=US/ST=Arizona/L=Scottsdale/O=GoDaddy.com, Inc./OU=http://certificates.godaddy.com/repository/CN=Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority/serialNumber=07969287 i:/C=US/O=The Go Daddy Group, Inc./OU=Go Daddy Class 2 Certification Authority --- -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

[Bug 23619] create a Hebrew version of prototype wiki
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23619 --- Comment #2 from Ryan Lane rlan...@gmail.com 2010-05-23 02:38:57 UTC --- I believe everything is fixed, except for recaptcha. Can you please check if everything? I have a hard time checking most of this, since I'm unable to read hebrew. Regarding recaptcha, I can't fix this on the hebrew prototype without breaking it on all other prototypes. The workaround is a hack, and all of the prototypes use the same extension location. Should we simply remove recaptcha, and do something if we start getting spam issues? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
