Can we keep an eye on this and report when it happens again? It's possibly a wikitext / template rendering issue. {{#time:d.m.Y|05.04.2012 next thursday}} gives 12.04.2012, but
{{#time:d.m.Y|05.04.2012 next thursday -1 day}} gives 04.04.2012 instead of
11.04.2012. Strangely this bug happens not if year or month is entered
instead of day, if the integer is positive, if previous is used instead of
next or if an other week of the day is entered (as 05.04.2012 is a thursday
too, only next thursday gives the bug, but for example next friday and
next wednesday give correct results).
Bug was tested in Special:ExpandTemplates at the english wikipedia and at
mediawiki.org.

Attached images are sent with a content-disposition header so that they cannot be viewed in the browser, only downloaded. It is a slight inconvenience only, but also an easy fix, I presume. Looking around, this could be because http://www.otrs.com/open-source/community-news/security-advisories/security-advisory-2005-01/ of the security vulnerability way back in 2005. However, as we are on a more recent version, this shouldn't be problem. I believe the configuration needs to be changed from: AttachmentDownloadType is set to attachment. to (AttachmentDownloadType = inline) (the default configuration). Moving a file whilst creating a redirect unnecessarily breaks such hotlinks, because the upload.wikimedia.org URLs don't follow the redirect. Example: * Uploaded https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Example-2.jpg * Got the hotlink: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8d/Example-2.jpg * Moved the file, with redirect, to https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Example-of-move.jpg * Hotlink now gives a 404 page (and not even a particularly helpful one). Lots of articles are small without being stubs, disambiguation pages being the obvious example. At the moment a registered editor looking a page can tell which links are to small articles but not what kind of articles they are. A link to a stub is good but a link to a disambiguation is normally evil. Presumably the same thing is necessary for action=email, since the request may include text of arbitrary length. Using the web based setup to generate the initial LocalSettings.php for the first time causes a phishing popup to appear using amazon CSS, images, and scripts. I've attached a screenshot and if requested can attach the source I have visible. The page imports an iframe for the form that refers to a page only visible from the client that spawned the popup, in my case: http://ec2-75-101-235-219.compute-1.amazonaws.com:8000/qwopumeuvqopmgutpcypsvjcyzqklwmp.php It will only spawn the first time someone attempts to view the GUI, after which it behaves perfectly. I agree that it is important to see a link to the index page in the file page. I had a patched version of nova on my test instance that allowed for filtering queries. In production this patch isn't in place (and won't be in place), so the filter fails in nova, which caused null results to be sent back. I don't think this is a major issue. I suppose anonymous users are hidden for privacy reasons, so I doubt the suppressed flag could bother the sysops; and suppressed revisions being visible only with the oversight right, the user is visible too. * Revisions by anonymous users which previously had both hidden user and suppressed, but were subsequently unhidden (rev_deleted=0), will now be rehidden. I don't know if there are any such revisions. If any, that shouldn't be a big issue either. Unfortunately, there is at least one other remaining corruption which is much more annoying: revisions which have had their rev_deleted flags set to DELETED_TEXT (ie. only the text has been deleted, and still visible to sysops) now have it set to DELETED_TEXT | DELETED_USER | DELETED_RESTRICTED . This prevents both regular users and sysops from knowing that a given anonymous user's edits were deleted. For example, if you look at ¹ without the oversight rights, you only see 9 edits, each of which looks legit. But if you have oversight rights, you can see 9 more edits which were deleted (*not* suppressed) because of blatant copyright violation. These revisions should be visible to sysops (user and text) and to regular users (user only) so that they can fight recurring copyright violation and identify long-term copyright violators and other vandals and sockpuppets (among other things). Other examples include the two links I have posted before (² and ³), where neither the regular users nor the sysops can check who is responsible of the edits that have been deleted nor if the deletion was justified. I'd be happy to help to fix the remaining issues if I can. Maybe by proposing relevant sql queries?
