I opened devtools here and this is what I could gather, bywiki.com seems to be a very thin layer over wikimedia itself. The first calls are to bywiki domain (and seem to be actually cached from wikimedia servers with some extra added code, including added advertisement with a bidvertiser script).

To add to my prior comments, while bywiki.com is very well put together there are trademark issues that need to be addressed. Plus the log-in setup could confuse Wikipedians into giving away their user name and password. I will pass this along to legal and hopefully we can get the site to address t
