Popup messages can be VERY useful. These days with floating divs etc they
are not always necessary, however I do agree that they have a definite
place.
Personally I use them in my web applications.
If you look at dreamweaver's form validation scripts, they also use that
style of popup.
Come on everyone don't give Michael too hard a time, we ALL typo from time

This is probably veering OT, but I use jEdit -- feature-rich, easily
extensible, runs on anything with a JVM. And free/open source :-)

Actually Andrew I am not here to annoy people what I have said has merit.
You are so quick to pass judgment simply because you do not agree with
somebody's point of view.
Its actually rather pathetic behaviour. If you cannot accept peoples point
of view that differs from yours, then you cle
Hey every1...
Just a silly idea, but what about using a background image, with a
transparent gif over it, the gif is the return to top link... Being part of
the background it wont print, you can make it PART of the background without
it looking like a special link etc..
Just a random thought that

to flash 2 or 3 some higher (of course) I think that we would be extremely
hard pressed to find a majority of online machines with flash above flash 8.
Myself, a web developer, only has flash 8 on my machine (I don't code

I agree with Thiru on that - you should NEVER give out your root access to
anybody... Its far 2 risky...
There are 2 alternatives.
Either a) set up a normal user account with SSH access (this would give them
access to their area of the server only) OR
b) Research the software and in
