Here's an issue "I think". If you set (check) auto-seq, then, during the QSO, set a different response than what it expects, say 73's instead of the RRR message, WSJT-X automatically sends the report message message if the other station sent a report instead of RRR. I got caught in a do-loop with

I am also having problems with logging. FT8 is not recognized (yet). I listed it as 'SSB' and put "Mode=FT8" in the remarks, but that is just a stop gap measure. Log4OM initially accepted but then rejected FT8, and I haven't found a way to make that acceptable to Log4OM. I have to say though

I was able to compile v1.7.1-devel with the new mode. Once up and running I did spot FA1ABL calling CQ @ 14.079+1300. I wanted to just lurk awhile first so I didn't answer him but hoped he would find someone to QSO with. He didn't. A while later he spotted me and reported it through HamSpots. I

FT8 testing went well here. I had QSOs on 50.313Mhz, 18.105Mhz, and 14.079Mhz. It's much like operating JT65 or JT9 but faster. The auto-sequence worked fine, a few times repeating a transmission if needed until the proper response was decoded. I like FT8 mode already, even without the planned
